Singer/songwriter Hollie Smith aka Phoenix is Regime's first lady of R&B. In 1998, Phoenix  recorded her debut single "What's The Meaning of Life" (single on the Land in Between Soundtrack vol.1), which featured labelmate Big Three, and released four more singles in 2003 that included songs "Chance" and "Get Away" (from the Area 51 Soundtrack) along with a feature on "Everybody" (from the Land In Between Vol.2 compilation). Phoenix’s beautifully crafted sound has remnants of R&B legend Aaliyah and Janet Jackson. Her music is a reflection of her many inspirations and her innate ability to master genres from R&B and neo soul, to gospel, and hip hop soul. Phoenix is a modern day woman and matriarch, who currently balances her artistry with being a loving mother to her two daughters.
