Matthew Dorman also known as Stoney,  signed to Regime Records in 2003 with a audition singing Steve Wonder's classic "Lately". Stoney's on-the-spot performance wowed Regime producers, and ultimately lead him to recording his debut single "Somethings Got to Give" a particularly popular track on Regime's release "The Land In Between Vol. 2".  Stoney is a musical mastermind of blending soulful grooves with infectious melodies, giving you a aftermath of modern urban street vibes. His gruff, Teddy Pendergrass-like voice would often give you a vocal nostalgia of R&B hitters like Jaheim, and D'angelo. Stoney was deemed to be a stand out R&B artist on Regime's roster, but a  2004 Dane county court conviction of armed robbery stunted the growth of seeing what his musical heights could be.
